Childhood can feel like eternity one minute and a split second the next. Our kids are constantly changing whether we like it or not. Simply | Kid sessions are short but sweet and the most special pictures to look back on. Each kid is unique in their own way. Each child has a personality. Some are shy, others the life of the party. Each stage of their life shows more and more about what makes them their own person.

It's the snaggle tooth grin.
The contagious laugh from hearing a potty word.
It's the stoic face no matter their mood.
It's the toddler trot across the floor or the spinning princess.
Before we know it, these little babies turn into big kids.
We can't freeze time, but we can look back at pictures.
Kids will be kids, but when we actually ENCOURAGE them to be themselves the magic truly comes out.

I start each session by greeting the KIDS as they walk into the studio. I tell them that this is different than family pictures. These pictures are all about THEM and there is NOTHING they HAVE to do. There is no perfect smile, no expectations, and really no rules. They can dance, make silly faces, smile, or not smile at all. They can go along with all of the things I have planned, choose to not do some of them, or completely come up with their own ideas. These pictures are all about who THEY are RIGHT NOW. Taking the pressure off the kids to be something they usually aren't, can make it a WHOLE lot smoother & more authentic.
